start of a brand new day.. funny how hours ago.. it was still raining cats and dogs.. and now.. the scorching hot sun is out again.. well well.. sunshine after the rain.. =) not too bad afterall..

was reading this book which i bought long time ago.. but can't find the time to read.. n finally i decided to take it out so i can read on my way to work.. in a way.. make full use of the travelling time..

its a book depicts the true life story of this person called brother yun.. how he stood strong in faith for God through the most horrible persecutions u can never even imagine.. n yet his love for God burn even stronger in his heart.. never forgetting to reach out even in the midst of all the sufferings.. as the scripture mention.. "We shall through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God".. and yes.. he definitely went thru lots of them.. suffered under the hands of the ruthless authorities.. thrown into prison.. and merciless torture by the heartless prison officers and cell mates.. he was beated.. whipped.. electrocuted.. humiliated.. they urinated on his face.. kicked and rolled him over human waste.. stripped him off his clothes and threw him on the cold stoney ground when the temperature is below zero degrees.. but yet.. by the grace of God.. he survived.. he clinged on to God.... he sang praises to God in his cell like the way paul and silas did in the book of Acts.. he survived miraculously even though he had gone without food and drinks for more than 40+ days.. and he become a testimony to his cell mates and the ppl who heard his story..and even converted some of his cell mates in the midst of all these sufferings..

amazing.. unbelievable faith he has.. as i read.. i felt my heart ache for him.. tears almost rolled down.. but i tried to control them.. coz i was on the train packed with ppl.. and suddenly the song "Still" played on my mp3.. and yes.. the title of the chapter i was reading was "Be still and know that I am God".. tears welled up in my eyes.. at the moment.. the only thought that came into my mind was.. "Am I willing to go through all these for God?" Jesus asked "Are you willing to forsake all.. take up the cross and follow me?".. stop and think before you ans.. I felt bad because i couldn't give an outright yes.. im terrified and horrified.. but still i know my ans.. I'll love God till the end..

God's amazing isn't He?.. His promises indeed never fail.. and is faithful till the end.. in the midst of all the persecutions.. He walked with us.. He protected us.. and provided for us.. the journey is tough.. but at the end of it.. we know His reward is so much more than we can ever imagine.. yes we are humiliated at the beginning.. but at the end.. the devil will be shaken.. he shall stumble and utterly destroyed!.. like how i started off in this entry.. no matter how bad the storm is.. there's always sunshine after the rain.. :)
