did you know that it does matter which newspaper you used to wrap your vegatables with??

try doing this experiment:
1) take a piece of english newspaper (Straits Times)
2) take a piece of chinese newspaper (lian he zao bao/wan bao)
3) wrap some vege using the eng newspaper and some with the chi newspaper

you will realise that those vege wrapped using the chi newspaper stay fresh longer compared to those wrapped with eng newspaper.. haa..interesting rite?? hee

our gene cell prof actually told us tat.. haa.. he heard tat frm the market vendor.. hee.. n he went to do the experiment.. haa.. n it turned out to be true.. apparently.. the ink used to print the eng and chi newspaper is actully diff.. so.. the ink actually plays the part in keeping the vege fresh.. haa... sci is amazing.. =p

another interesting case is..

did you know that pretty mums give birth to handsome sons? haha.. this is not scientifically proven yet though.. but it has been so called the observed trend la.. well.. so guys.. if you want ur sons next time to handsome.. marry a pretty wife! hahah..
