sweet 25th birthday..

this yr's bdae was indeed a memorable 1.. 1 of the most special bdae i've ever had..the 1st year.. my very own cg celebrated my bdae for me.. thx to E432.. :)

throughout the week i received a surprise every single day from "a mystery person"..

Mon: got a call frm my recept that a secret admirer sent me a stalk of sunflower..with a note that says "You are the sunshine of my life!"... this whole thing turned out to be so funny.. n it became the topic of the day for my entire NIS team.. together with my bosses.. thx to Cat (my dear recept) for adding a twist to the whole thing to make all of us think that the flower is frm 1 of my scholars(thx God..its not!).. haa.. :x

Tue: was having dinner at far east subway with mich n daiqi before our tue mtg.. den chee kiong came with a watermelon.. with a note that says "我的美人!".. n chee kiong told me he met someone on his way.. n was told that the person received a prompting frm heaven that he got to pass this to me!.. haa.. i brought the watermelon to st regis for our mtg.. n all the leaders had a great laugh over this.. n i think they really had fun teasing me.. :s

Wed: after bs.. junjie came n pass me a card.. n told me that someone told him to pass the card to me.. oh well the card says.. "Hope you've had a great day!"

Thurs: got a msg frm loo earli in the morning while i was on my way to HOG for the morning pm.. she said an usher passed her a kinder brueno and told them to give it to me...

Fri(the BIG day!): i went to mac with mich after pm.. den 1 of the mac staff came to us with a set of fillet-o-fish meal and a small little bouquet of flower with a very cute soft toy on it.. n said a mystery guy told her to pass that to me..

in the evening while i was giving bs half way.. i received an sms frm an unknown no. that says:

"This is a very impt msg! I'm an angel that jus decended at 12am in the morning and am sent to convey a very impt msg to u..Please proceed down to East coast park by 830pm, u will then be received by the royalties for a sumptous meal. Your attendance is impt and is compulsary.."

the 1st thot that came to my mind was.. was that sent to a wrong person.. haa.. anyway.. there was a minor miscomm along the way.. n it so happened that at that pt of time im already quite irritated due to some other issue.. so i kinda lost my temper..poor serene(loo's fren) got a scolding frm me.. haa.. sorry.. but she juz happened to be the one im talking to at the pt when something got me really irritated..n i tot she's 1 of my mem.. haa.. the fact that i was unable to get a cab makes me feel worse... oh well its ok..

i reached there.. jon n ning met us there.. brought me to east coast park.. blind-folded.. im still mad.. really mad.. n i think i spoilt the entire mood at that pt of time.. everybody's spirit got dampened becoz of my countenance.. but well E432..i just want to say.. im was juz angry with something else.. not u guys..

they brought me to the place.. took down my blind-fold.. it was beautiful.. candlelights..sparkles.. beautiful lightsticks.. that form the word "FEN".. like a masquerade.. they even had a mask for every1..n a sumptuous spread of food..in front of me was a heart-shaped cake.. with my name on it.. specially made by clarence..n infront of me.. were all my members...n even friends!.. my heart melted.. so sweet... really.. den i blamed myself for being a spoiler.. ruined my own bdae surprise..

when i saw the presents i nearly teared.. there were many of them.. namely.. the daily surprises thruout the week..the beautiful surprise at east coast.. a GUESS wallet..a star-shaped bottle filled with salt..with a smiley face n a "J" inside.. it resembles the "Salt and Light" my cg vision.. :).. and also not forgetting the hardwork of all the members.. they made me a "Shepherd's Diary"...for me to fill in my memories of being the shepherd of the E432.. :).. inside were the memories of the cg.. all the way back frm S23 days.. till i took over E432... this book.. carries their thoughts.. their well wishes.. not just that.. it carries my vision.. their vision...our breakthroughs.. memories that cannot be replaced..

it was indeed a great honor.. to be able to lead this grp of ppl.. who loves God.. loves me.. loves each other.. faithful.. loyal.. went thru lots of fire.. yet they stood strong.. my armorbearers..we've been thru so much together.. along the way.. we cried.. we laughed.. we quarrelled.. we loved.. but all these really kept us closer.. and made the r/s stronger..

to my previous darlings in E432.. thx so much for the pleasant surprises.. 大家辛苦了！i really appreciate it.. u guys juz made me feel that whatever i've done.. is really all worthwhile.. i really thx God for every single 1 of u.. I really duno wat to do without u guys.. Luv ya all lots!..

Let's grow.. Let's continue to fight.. Let's continue to serve.. together.. we can make things happen!
